As you are aware we face unprecedented changes to our daily lives due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, we are working on new ways to stay in touch, so we can start to develop these plans.
We have compiled the following information which may be helpful for you during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
What is coronavirus (COVID-19)?
Coronavirus is a serious respiratory condition. It is spread by personal contact, including with people who may have the virus without being aware of it. There is no vaccine or cure at the moment, which is why the government is trying to limit the number of people who are infected.
When do I need to stay in my home?
If you have a continuous cough and/or a high temperature you are advised not to leave your home for a set period - this is known as `self-isolation’.
If you live on your own it is advised that you do not leave your home for 7 days.
If you live with other people, every member of the household should stay home for 14 days.
When people visit your home during this time you should stay at least 2 metres (3 steps) away from them.
You should also keep this distance from each other as far as possible.
How can I find out what I need to know about the virus?
The best sources of information about the virus and the current advice are online at the following websites. These are being updated every day.
