Housing Needs Surveys

Thank you to everyone that has completed a housing needs survey so far. The surveys completed have been really helpful in giving us a better understanding of you and your neighbour’s needs.

We still have a number of households we have not been able to complete the survey with. You would have recently received a letter if your survey is outstanding, please contact us urgently as we look to complete surveys for all remaining households.

If you are a secure tenant or a resident homeowner and haven’t completed your housing needs survey with us, please contact the team on the details at the end of the newsletter.

CRESSINGHAM GARDENS RESIDENT MANAGEMENT CO-OPERATIVE BALLOT

You would have recently received a letter about a ballot of residents to determine if they were in favour of proposals by the “Cressingham Gardens Resident Management Co-operative” (CGRMC) to manage a number of local housing services on the estate.

The ballot closed on 16 November and a majority of all tenants who voted supported the proposal for CGRMC to take over the management of their housing services.

The result means the Council will now commence working with CGRMC on developing a management agreement and agreeing a date when the organisation will start to take on a number of the local housing services. Residents will be notified when CGRMC take over housing management services.
