Design Site Visit – 4th June 2016

After 3 workshop sessions looking at design features for new build developments, a group of residents led by Metropolitan Workshops, went to schemes within Southwark and north London, to see what good (& bad) design means in practice – specifically looking at density, space standards and also how public and private external space has been dealt with.

The feedback for our sunny day out was very positive. We will come back to you on what the comments on the event were from residents who came along.

And thank-you, to all the residents on the estate who gave up a whole day to look at architecture, which could potentially influence any designs for the redevelopment of Central Hill through resident design aspirations for the estate.
