Homes @Home Online Activities

What can we do together during lockdown? If you have an idea for something which would help us stay in contact, or a shared online session you could lead, we could help set it up – please get in touch and let us know what you’re thinking. In the meantime, we are researching a few ideas ourselves… Crafting club, homework hub, beautiful balconies and tea time talks are a few.

We’re also looking into virtual bingo sessions. Please get in touch if you’d be interested in playing. Looking forward to updating you in our next newsletter. Contact Carole on 075 1495 2678 or email carole@homesforlambeth.co.uk for more information.

Coronavirus Response

The Green Shop community hub space will be used as final mile link in the council’s programme to get food to individual households in and around the South Lambeth Estate. This support is for residents who have asked for assistance from central government or the council due to the continued national
lockdown.

If you or someone you know needs help, contact the council’s helpline for vulnerable people. The helpline number is 020 7926 2999.

Digital Inclusion

We know that some residents are finding being in lockdown very isolating. Please contact us so we can signpost you to support.

An audit is being prepared so we know more about those who are self-isolating and are not able to communicate with us online or access the internet.

Please contact Carole if you know someone who could use help during lockdown carole@homesforlambeth.co.uk or 07514 952678

Development Update

Block A

We are currently looking at how we can continue to move the Homes for Lambeth scheme forward during this time of social distancing. This includes when possible, planning for there to be a swift pick up of activity as and when the advice allows.

Wimbourne House

The works at Wimbourne House form information held by Lambeth Council as is their development project and not one managed by Homes for Lambeth. Please contact Paul Ingram pingram1@lambeth.gov.uk or 020 7925 9695

Your Homes for Lambeth - Head of Pre-development

My name is Nathan. I am Head of Pre-development at Homes for Lambeth and leading the team which submits planning applications and organises our planning consultations. On a day to day basis, I host design meetings with architects and engineers and some meetings with LB Lambeth Planning department.

Most recently I was Managing Director of a top four house building company. That background provided me with a wealth of experience from planning and placemaking, building, sales, after care and business planning.

I joined Homes for Lambeth because I wanted to be a part of a company which puts residents at the heart of its operations. On a non-professional level, I’m most proud of working as housing lead for a Community Sponsorship group that relocated an at-risk family from Syria. An amazing uplifting experience which I want to do more of.

You can ask me about health and wellbeing, Netflix or preferably my dog Bruce.
