Equality Impact Assessment Report 

Following on from the Equality Impact Assessments undertaken last October, the draft report has now been published. Details can be downloaded from here or hard copies of the draft report are available from the hub at 2 Broadstone House.

Work experience opportunity 

We are offering a two week summer holiday work experience placement to a student (school years 10, 11 and 12), living in Lambeth, to introduce them to the diverse world of construction. 

The placement will be hosted by Airey Miller, who are working with the council on the estate regeneration programme, and will be based in Victoria. Travel and lunch will be provided daily throughout the placement.

Independent Advisor Service: 

The current independent advice service is coming up for contract renewal and the council will be working with your REP to choose who will continue to provide this service. 

Drop -in Sessions: 

As usual we are still holding our weekly drop-ins at 2 Broadstone House on Tuesdays from 3.30-7pm. 

Planning application: 

We are currently waiting for a date for the planning application to be heard at committee, once this is confirmed you will receive a letter to tell you when this is and how you can respond. If you have any questions about the planning application you can contact us on the details below or pop into the drop in sessions on a Tuesday.

INDEPENDENT ADVISOR 

Hi folks, 

I hope you have recovered well from the recent bout of heavy snow! 

CALLING ALL RESIDENT HOMEOWNERS! 

We are currently working with residents to provide a couple of meetings for homeowners who maybe need a clearer understanding of how the changes to South Lambeth relate to them. 

We hope to schedule the meetings in mid to late April. 

Resident homeowners will be formerly invited once the meeting dates and arrangements have been have been firmed up. 

WEEKLY DROP-IN’S 

Just a reminder that the community hub is open every Tuesday from 3.30pm – 7p.m at No.2 Broadstone House. 

No appointment is necessary, so feel free to pop in and have a chat with staff if you require an update on what is happening on South Lambeth.
