South Lambeth Estate Newsletter - April 2019

The Development Management Team have published Newsletter #33 for South Lambeth Estate and it is available to read here.




Last month we gave you some updates on works that were due to happen on the estate before the works started to Wimborne House. We just wanted to let you know some further updates:

Tree works
Getting a tree surgeon to undertake these works has taken longer than we had hoped, so we are hoping that this will start these works in the next few weeks. We will let residents know further details shortly.

Gas Diversion works
The application for these works is now with the gas authority and we are awaiting feedback from them when this work can start. We will give you more details when we have heard back from them. 

Wimborne House works
A contractor has been appointed to undertake this work and we are working with them to have a date for them to start the works. We will let you know once a start date is confirmed.

Cleo is still off work and will not be back for some time. So in the meantime please contact Claire or Abdul if you have any questions. Their details are as follows:

As mentioned in previous newsletters Homes for Lambeth was due to take the management of it first 70 homes at Lollard Street in Kennington. Homes for Lambeth has now done this and residents are now moving into these new council level rent homes.

To allow residents to see what these Homes for Lambeth homes look like we have arranged two open house sessions - the details are below:

4 to 7pm on the 8th May 2019 and 1 to 4pm on the 9th May 2019

Seated yoga

On the 21st May @ 4pm we will be joined by Claire from Yoga Radiance will be at the hub from 4pm to do a chair yoga session for residents to take part in.

The session is free and open to all ages. The session will be a gentle introduction to seated yoga. We hope to see you there!

Special Homeowners Drop-in
Thanks to those who attended the special drop- in for leaseholders on the 9th April. Following this session residents have asked for a presentation about the buyback and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) process. This will take place on:
