Play space consultation

To coincide with the launch of Look Twice’s football coaching we are holding a consultation to find out what young people would like to see in the new play space areas and sports pitch on the estate.

The session will be interactive with drawing, model making and a chance for you to find out more about the football coaching programme.

We have managed to book an amazing face painter, who wowed everyone at the Fun Day Back in October and she will be with us from 12.30-2.30!

We hope that you can come along!

Date:Saturday 11th March

Time:12.30-4.30 pm

Location:Bolney Meadow Community centre

Independent advisor

Hi Everyone,

I am delighted to be working on the South Lambeth Estate and hope that I continue to offer the great support you received from my predecessor Michael Simms.

Since the last edition of this newsletter I have been busy getting to know the estate and its history. There is a lot happening but it’s exciting times!

I would really like to meet local people, so will be door knocking over the next few weeks to introduce myself and generally talk about the changes ahead.

If I knock the door please talk to me – I’m really friendly! I will always be wearing identification when I visit your home so please don’t worry.

If you are not home, there is the regular drop-in every Tuesday at 2 Broadstone House 3.00pm-6.30pm, where you can talk to me, Claire from Tibbalds or officers from the council.

It is important to tell us what you think - and use us to answer any questions you might have about the estates’ regeneration, so do get in touch.

I need to update you on a few events/meetings planned for March and the details are in the newsletter however, I will be running some sessions about tenancies and leases:

‘Your Tenancy’ Workshop

If you want the changes to your tenancy agreement clarified, this is the workshop for you.

When: Tuesday 14th March, 3.00 – 6.30pm (drop in anytime)

Where: 2 Broadstone House

Your Lease’ Workshop

If you would like to discuss how the changes might affect your lease, please come along

When: Tuesday 21st March, 3.00pm -6.30pm (drop in anytime)

Site investigations update

As you will have seen the site investigations have been taking place on the estate and I hope they have not caused any inconvenience.

The contractor will still be on the estate for the early part of this week to make sure that everything is back to how it was before the works were completed.

The samples will be sent to the lab for testing and we will come back to you with anything interesting found.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Claire from Tibbalds on 020 7089 2138
