I hope you have your pumpkins ready as Halloween approaches! We have a two important consultations running at the moment which we wanted to remind you about.
Tenancies and Leases- Formal consultation on the new Homes for Lambeth tenancies and leases officially started last month. Once again we can’t stress enough how important it is for you to provide your feedback on these. If you have been unable to attend our special drop -ins regarding these, please contact us or your Independent Advisor Yvonne to ask any questions, the next drop-in is on 17th October focusing on Lease questions. Remember that you have until the 3rd November 2017 to have your say.
Housing Management –consultation is also open on the future Housing Management service. Like with the Tenancies and Leases you should read through the booklet and feedback to us with information and questions about the future management of the estate.
You have until the 15th December 2017 to have your say on Housing Management. Please note these consultations will only be with Broadstone House, Sturminster House, Verwood House, Osmington House and Swanage House as future tenancies and leases for new properties will be with Homes for Lambeth as will the management of the blocks. Wimborne House tenancies, leases and management will not beHomes for Lambeth.

COME AND JOIN US TO FIND OUT ABOUT BUGS, BIRDS AND TREES
We would like to invite all residents to come and take a walk around the estate and look at the trees, wildlife and learn about how to help wildlife thrive on the estate.
Date: Tuesday 24th October
Time : 3.30-5.30
Where: 2 Broadstone House
Following the walk-around there will be some other activities taking place in the community hub including model making and drawing. Please wrap up warm!

TENANCIES AND LEASES CONSULTATION:
As we move forward together with the rebuilding of your estate, we are committed to reducing any possible stress caused to an absolute minimum. That is why we want to give you all the information and support that you need so you can make the best choices for you and your family’s future.
You should have received a booklet about the new Lifetime Assured tenancy or new lease agreement. These booklets give you information on this draft documents and also asking you for your view on.
If you haven’t received them, you can pick up a copy from 2 Broadstone House. Please make the time to read the booklet and have your say.
Copies of draft leases can found at: estateregeneration.lambeth.gov.uk/leases along with a copy of the draft tenancy agreement at estateregeneration.lambeth.gov.uk/tenancy
If you don’t have access to the internet, you can pick up a copy from 2 Broadstone House. You have until 5 pm on the 3rd November to have your say!

Consultation on new leases and tenancies
Independent Advisors commissioned Lewis Silkin, a firm of solicitors to review the Council’s proposed new tenancies and leases, and they did a great job in recommending required changes in preparation for the consultation. You will have received your consultation booklet from the council on the new tenancies and leases. The consultation will run until 3rd November, so it is important that you voice your opinions and/or concerns about the proposed changes. Please remember that the tenancies and leases for your new home will relate to Homes for Lambeth and not the council.
