What’s happening on your estate:
The council are committed to building more and better homes on Fenwick Estate. Because we want to produce a design which you, the residents, are happy with, we will be doing all we can to ensure that you are:
INFORMED about the plans, INVOLVED
in the process, so that you can; INFLUENCE what happens next
Next Council Drop-in:
There will be an opportunity to speak to Paul Gordon from the Decant Team and new project team member Motoka Namakambo at the next drop-in on Weds 6 February at No.66 Willington Road.
These evening drop ins have moved from Mondays and will now take place fortnightly on Wednesdays from 5-7pm. Please get in touch for more information:

- 46 new council level rent homes are being built by Transport for London (TfL) for Homes for Lambeth
- Existing secure tenants on the wider Fenwick Estate will have priority for the newly built homes under a local lettings plan
- The demolition and site clearance contractor is Squibb Group: squibbgroup.com
- The construction contactor is Mulalley & Co Ltd: mulalley.co.uk
- We expect demolition and site clearance to be complete in March 2019
- We expect construction due to begin Summer 2019
- No homes are being demolished on Fenwick estate as part of this phase
Our demolition contractor has demolished the old buildings and is now working on strengthening the boundary wall and digging holes for new drainage to be installed. They are still working hard to minimise disruption to local residents, paying close attention to reducing noise and dust and trying to minimise disruption to local traffic and parking.
The site has been secured and the new hoarding will soon receive a final coat of paint.
When our demolition contractor has finished they’ll hand the site to our construction contractor Mulalley and Co Ltd., who will then carry out some site surveys. In the meantime we’ll work closely with Mulalley and Co Ltd. to finalise the design of the new homes.
Before construction begins you’ll be invited to a local exhibition where you can see the building designs and meet the project team.

It was great to see a good number of residents at the TRA Winter Party – we hope you enjoyed it! There were plenty of games, competitions and prizes to keep everyone happy, as well as a festive menu and tunes provided by DJ Glamzino. A huge thank you to the team of residents who worked hard in planning and putting on a fantastic event.
The party was also a great way to say a big thank you to Ron, who stood down as chairman of our TRA after 10 years. We thanked Ron for all he’d done over the decade with a presentation made by Councillor Tina Calcarcel, and welcomed Wale Age as the new TRA Chairman.

Lastly, we’d like to remind residents who smoke on their balconies not to leave cigarette stubs on the floor or throw them over the balcony, as it leaves a mess for someone else to clear up.
Jasper & Kristel from make:good will be back at No. 66 on Tuesday 19th of February 3.30 - 5pm to start getting the garden ready for spring and running craft activities for all ages.
