Development Update
In June 2020, Lambeth’s Planning Applications Committee approved Homes for Lambeth’s planning application on the former Patmos Lodge Care Home site which has been vacant for a number of years.
The proposed development will deliver an additional 31 new homes of which 50% of the accommodation will be for affordable housing. Homes for Lambeth are proposing to build 31 new high-quality homes, including five family-sized homes, on the site of the Former Patmos Lodge care home. 13 of these new homes will be affordable, of which 7 will be Council Level rent and 6 will be shared ownership. The new development will be car-free except for the provision of 3 disabled parking bays.
From Monday 19 October, for a period of two months, we have been carrying out enabling works for our Pre-Construction Survey. However, these have been non-disruptive works to residents.
If you have any questions about plans for Patmos Lodge, please get in touch with your Resident Engagement Officer, David Silvey on [email protected]
Your Homes For Lambeth
Hello,
I’m David Silvey, your new Resident Engagement Officer. My main responsibility is to be the point of contact for residents, to ensure that you are aware of our plans, that you understand timescales for planned works in your area and to answer any questions that you may have.
Professionally, I have worked on a number of large infrastructure projects, working directly with local communities to keep them informed of planned and ongoing works, and dealing with questions raised by the community. I have also previously worked on some major sporting events including the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and the Tour de France.
I am looking forward to developing good working relationships between HFL and local residents in order to provide positive results for the community.
Outside of work I enjoy watching sport (especially football), music and gardening. I am married with a young son.
If you have any questions about your area, please do get in touch with me.
