Phase 2 of the Westbury Estate Masterplan now being brought forward by Homes for Lambeth to deliver new and better homes. An updated phasing approach identifies phase 2 of the regeneration on the western half of the site near to St Rule Street (broadly where Ilsley Court and Welford Court are located). It will contain around 120 new and replacement homes and include a mix of low cost affordable homes, shared ownership homes and market housing. This new approach enables more new homes to be delivered in phase 2 than was set out in the original masterplan strategy. All homes will meet modern design standards for insulation and fire safety, and will have a balcony, terrace or garden.
In late February 2021 we are asking estate residents about their views on the design work being taken forward for phase 2 in accordance with the approved masterplan. We want to get your feedback on the layouts of the new homes, the appearance of the blocks and the landscape proposals. A ‘reserved matters’ planning application will be submitted for approval at the end of March 2021.
Further information about the proposals is on the HFL website at https://engage.homesforlambeth.co.uk/westbury
Please fill in the survey below by Friday 5th March.
