HFL is working closely with the council on its business plan which will be presented to the council cabinet for approval in March next year. After the business plan is approved, HFL will be able to talk to residents about when the master planning for Central Hill will start. When it does, residents will be involved in the design of the new homes and the estate.
Use of Empty Homes
The properties residents’ move from will be used to for temporary accommodation or let out through lettings agents, unless they are in serious disrepair. There has been a delay in getting contractors on-site to repair some homes, however, moving forward the repairs to empty homes will be done a lot quicker. So they can be used as homes for families who need them.
