RE: Roman Rise Planning Application
We are delighted to share with you the news that Lambeth Council’s Planning Committee gave permission for us to build 31 new affordable homes at the site currently known as Truslove House at Roman Rise. The proposals include three wheelchair accessible homes and more family-sized homes.
This planning application is an important step moving forward with the rebuilding programme at Central Hill Estate. All of the new homes at Roman Rise will be prioritised for Lambeth tenants and resident homeowners on Central Hill. Allocations to these homes will be determined by the council and this will be done as part of a ‘local lettings plan’ and will be linked to a phasing programme for the estate. If you would like to find out more information on this, sign up for updates on the link below:
We will use future newsletters to keep you updated. Additionally, we will soon be starting the process to develop a masterplan for the estate. Residents will be involved throughout the process and this will include developing a phasing plan and selecting the architects to progress the design to rebuild Central Hill Estate; to provide more and better homes for Lambeth tenants and resident homeowners on the estate and applicants on the housing waiting list.

Are you interested in joining the REP?
The Resident Engagement Panel plays a vital role in holding HFL to account; asking questions and ensuring residents voices are heard. As we progress the rebuilding programme, the REP will help involve and engage residents on the estate.
