You state that you are carrying out “numerous phone calls [and] site visits”. Who are you sampling and what is your rationale for ensuring your data are representative of all residents?

A:

Our calls and site visits are not undertaken to address a specific ‘sample’ of residents.

Data is currently captured voluntarily from residents willing to provide us with information. As part of the capture we ask residents to provide us with demographic information based upon the council’s Equalities Panel groupings. However, we do not have a significant data pool to be able to indicate whether the data received is representative of the various groups and communities of residents on our estates. It is never the less our aim to have proportionate representation of Lambeth’s communities and the estates themselves involved, participating and benefitting from the RESI programme of activities.
